TR!BECA DUBAI

Located in the heart of JBR, Tribeca quickly established itself as a key venue in Dubai’s nightlife scene following its launch in 2015.

Inspired by New York’s Tribeca district, the venue combined an industrial loft aesthetic with a music-led approach, attracting a loyal and discerning crowd. CN Williams held a residency at the venue, contributing to its weekly programming and atmosphere.

Tribeca received recognition including Best Ladies Night (Hype Magazine Awards) and a highly commended listing at the Time Out Dubai Awards.

PAUL EDGINGTON PAYS HOMAGE TO
CN WILLIAMS AND BERN

The most significant and influential period during the courtship days of my love affair with House music was forged during the late 90's with the help of 2 very important men, 2 pioneers who's names when spoken or shouted became one, synonymous with each other, simply put, there was no Clifford without Bern!

When the duo formed after Clifford's explosion onto the Room 2 scene, I'd already been an Escape room 2 regular for about 18 months. I had become accustomed to being treated weekly by the sublime sounds of elite DJ guests and I grew loyal to the legendary residents Deli G, Chris Vatary, Danny Slade, Big Al, Teddy Brasco and that man Bern.

The club truly was an Escape in many ways, the same familiar faces gathered in their Saturday best, ready to groove in their finest dancing shoes, new faces came and went, if you weren't here for the music, this club was not for you! We drank Jack Daniels with Coke, Vodka with Red Bull, smoked Marlboro lights and we partied HARD, 5 to 6 hours of 'lets have it' funktastic shenanigans! We turned up religiously after counting down the hours until Saturday night, we expected a journey, a musical banquet, a buffet of soul piercing beats and a dance floor throbbing with an arms in the air atmosphere that no-one could resist, it was a case of the greatest show on earth every week.

MOLOKO COCKTAIL BAR

In 2009, CN Williams partnered with Myles Wellington to transform a former bank and live music venue in Swansea’s Wine Street into Moloko Cocktail Bar.

The venue quickly gained popularity, with queues forming each weekend, and was later described by UK dance music press as “the smallest superclub in the world”.

CN Williams remained involved until 2011, after which he shifted focus towards international DJ bookings and music production. The venue continues to operate today under a different name.

PINNACLE ENTERTAINMENT

Pinnacle Entertainment was one of Europe’s leading independent music distribution and marketing companies, representing hundreds of record labels across the UK and international markets.

CN Williams joined the company in 1999 as Head of Dance Music, overseeing label development, artist campaigns and distribution strategy. During his time there, he worked with a wide range of labels and artists, contributing to UK campaigns for internationally recognised names across the industry.
